
Jamie Howard, ACSW, is an Associate Clinical Social Worker at Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc. She has hands-on experience providing school-based counseling, case management, and trauma-informed care to diverse populations across youth, adult, and residential settings.
Ms. Howard earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California, and went on to complete her Master of Social Work at California State University, Northridge. Her professional experience includes delivering individual and group counseling for children and adolescents, providing multi-tiered interventions (MTSS), leading social-emotional learning lessons, and supporting high-risk youth through case management, safety planning, and life skills training. She also brings experience in adult and residential treatment settings, facilitating psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and behavioral support.
Passionate about educating, empowering, and advocating for underserved individuals and communities, she strives to create safe, inclusive spaces that support healing and growth. Her approach is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and strengths-based, integrating expressive arts techniques with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed practices to enhance emotional regulation and self-expression. Each intervention is tailored to meet the unique needs of her clients while providing compassionate, client-centered care. Additionally, she brings expertise in crisis intervention and psychoeducation and remains committed to continuous growth under clinical supervision.
